Our Story

We are a family owned business just off the square in Newnan, Ga.

After a successful career as an air traffic controller in the FAA, I found that I wasn’t ready to retire. Grayson, my 26 year old son had moved back to Georgia and settled in Newnan. He was still searching for his next step, and I wanted to help him. After talking to friends who had an ice cream shop and absolutely loved the business we decided an ice cream store might be a solution. Once the idea started to take flight we decided to go to the best ice cream stores all over the country (strictly for research, of course). From San Francisco to Washington DC to Cleveland to Florida we tasted and experienced all types of ice cream and watched so many methods for making it. We realized that there were so many different and wonderful flavors and types, but what really made the best ice cream was what you put into it.

With that in mind we make our ice cream from grass fed milk and cream, and ingredients that are either organic or all natural. We always use real fruit and the best cocoa. We never use artificial colors or flavors.
